Its not very common because most daily drive their Z's. Not wanting to get moisture into the fuse/relay box is understandable. I relocated mine behind the drivers intercooler and put some clear silicone around where the bundles of wires go in and made a silicone seal for the lid to press against. I havent driven it yet so obviously I haven had any problems. I plan on getting the properly gauge wires and lengthening the fuse box to sit in the headlight aiming storage compartment behind the seat. You can: move the battery to the back, hide the wiper controller and stock boost gauge controller under neath the fender, delete the hicas solenoid, delete the cruise control, move the power steering resevior to where the battery was, move the vacuum nipples around to minimize hose lengths, delete the clutch booster. Really it just depends on how creative and custom you want to get. Look around, there are plenty of pics from people that have minimized the engine bay. Ashs engine compartment is very nice and simple looking.
